Workshop 5: AI for Studies
How to study with AI, and how to build your own study tools. Three habits, eight tips, and an agent that remembers what you got wrong. Everything from the night, free to re-run.
This was a build-along — the slides and prompts below are the whole thing.
BUILDER PROMPTS5 · COPY ANY
01Hard topic → find itSegment 4 · Live build
Here are my lecture slides. Which concept is hardest to understand from text alone? Give me 3 candidates and say why.
02Hard topic → build itSegment 4 · Live build
Build an interactive simulation of [concept] from my slides. Use only formulas and definitions from the slides and cite the slide for each. Include sliders for the key variables, a live chart, a one-line explanation that updates as I move the sliders, and a "predict first" mode with 3 challenges where I have to guess before it shows the answer.
03Hard topic → check itSegment 4 · Live build
Be critical. List every formula and claim in the simulation with its slide. Flag anything that isn't in my slides, then fix it.
04Critic mode (add to any build)Segment 5 · Build block
Be critical. Evaluate this, don't agree with me. Point out what's wrong, what's weak and what's missing before you say anything nice.
05Fix an agent that misbehavedSegment 5 · Build block
It did: [what happened]
It should have: [one sentence]
Which instruction in CLAUDE.md or .claude/skills caused this? Fix only that file, keep the change minimal, and show me exactly what you changed.
